Ministers need not resign following SC notice: CM 
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday said that there was no need for ministers to submit resignation from their posts following the issuance of notices by the Supreme Court in connection with disproportionate assets case of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Talking to media persons in assembly premises, the Chief Minister said that the apex court only served notices and the ministers were in no way connected to the disproportionate assets case. “Though the Supreme court has served notices, the probing agency was yet to prove the charges against the ministers. Until the charges are proved, they are innocent," he said.

Stating that the serving notices on ministers would not have any impact on the prospects of Congress candidates in the ensuing by-elections, he said that the government was committed for corruption-free governance and would maintaining transparency in all fields
