| CPI asks State to solve drinking water problem in drought hit areas communist party Of India floor leader Julakanti Rangareddy on Friday stated that his party would move an adjournment motion in the House urging the government to take steps to solve the drinking water problem in drought affected mandals in the state. Talking to media persons at Assembly media point, Julakanti said that though the government declared 874 mandals as drought hit about three months ago, it failed to take adequate measures in those mandals. He said that the CPI(M) would mount pressure on the government to release at least Rs 3-4 crore for each mandal to tackle the drinking water problem. |
